What is the difference between PowerLinks and Guest Posts?

“Guest posting” means writing and publishing an article on someone else’s website or blog. It’s a great way to connect with new readers and get your name out.

With guest posting, we post a freshly written article to sites relevant to your niche that meet our metric requirements. It’s a fairly labor-intensive process – first we research the sites, contact the site owners, and then convince them to post our articles.

OurReachFrog is not your typical guest posting service.  We are the only firm that works with US writers because we know that lower quality backlinks provide very little traffic and can actually hurt your traffic and your brand.  Google has a very sophisticated algorithm for evaluating content and we find that using US writers produces the best overall backlink results due to the quality of the content.

We look at many metrics when selecting sites for placement.  One of the measurements we consider is DA or Doman Authority. Domain Authority (DA) is a search engine ranking score developed by Moz that predicts how likely a website is to rank on search engine result pages (SERPs). A Domain Authority score ranges from one to 100, with higher scores corresponding to a greater ability to rank. But we consider more than just the Domain Authority of a site as there are other indicators that help a site to rank.

Google looks beyond authority in a much more holistic way. They consider a large number of factors when determining how a site should rank.

Therefore, there are a number of metrics we consider above DA and traffic.  We provide a DA minimum mostly because customers understand DA and many use this as a yardstick. The trouble is that DA is just one part of the picture. Sites can artificially inflate DA. There are alot of high DA sites that just don’t work that well.

There are a number of different factors beyond DA that can tell you a lot. We look at the spam score, the keywords that the site ranks for, the dofollow and nofollow links, traffic trends, sites linked out to, what the competition is linking to sites are linking to and the history of these sites to the ranking sites.  And we use US content writers because it helps give the greatest SEO performance. Google examines the quality of the content and can tell if it’s written by an English speaking person.

powerfull authority building links

Powerlinks

Powerlinks are the most powerful links we provide. We have clients that order $20K of PowerLinks because they are high performing dofollow links that pass along SEO value. They are links in fresh SEO-optimized content on relevant high-authority sites.

Powerlinks look and feel like a guest post, but it’s a more comprehensive link because it includes a number of factors. The backlink technique is designed for maximum impact. The articles are posted to sites of much higher traffic.

The main difference is in the amount of traffic (ahrefs site traffic) although we look at a number of different factors. The standard is 1000, medium is 5000 and platinum is 10,000. This is not an indication of the amount of traffic you will receive but rather is an indicator of the quality of the site.

Powerlinks are our most powerful links because they focus on the highest traffic sites.

If you’re unsure of which way to go, it’s best to bet on PowerLinks simply because of the quality of the link and the traffic quality. You’ll be more certain of the quality of the link with PowerLinks, however, Guest Posts will work just fine.

PowerLinks are great for newer sites, sites that are new to high-quality backlinks, or for sites that are in tough, competitive niches.

If you are budget conscious, then Guest Posts are a great way to go. Much of the same know-how is included with our Guest Post product
