There is an established scam that, on occasions, our clients identify.

What occurs is an email comes in demanding payment or an article will be removed. This is an easy scam to notice, because the sending email is from a domain that is not related to the site.

The emails look something like this;

The way this scam works is if you reply or click on any links, the scammers then attempt to collect your bank details or credit card details.

Please ensure these emails are marked as Junk, and avoid clicking on any links wherever possible. The risk only eventuates if you have entered your bank details or credit card details. If you have handed over credit card details via email, please alert your credit card company.

Often these come from a gmail or other domain. It would be rare/never for a publisher to contact you directly, and if they did the email would come from their domain, but this is never something they would request. All emails from OutReachFrog come from outreachfrog.com

OutreachFrog never requests credit card details to be sent via email – we provide a secure link from our domain or within our client portal.
