How long it takes

Editorial placement is not a queue you can rush, so here is what it actually takes rather than a promise of a date. Where a stage depends on an editor saying yes, we say so.

Stage by stage

  1. About a week

    The visibility report

Twenty-five buyer questions run across four engines, plus the backlink and mention gap. You get the prioritised fix list whether or not you go further.

  2. Week one

    Criteria agreed, outreach starts

Target pages, anchor text and the sites worth being on, agreed before anything is pitched. Outreach begins as soon as you have signed the list off.

  3. Inside the first month

    First placements go live

Editorial outreach means a specific site can decline, so the first live URLs arrive as they land rather than in one batch at month end. Each is reported with its URL as it publishes.

  4. Month two onward

    Volume settles into a rhythm

New campaigns launch each month at the agreed volume, and placements compound rather than resetting.

  5. About a quarter

    Citation movement shows up

A model has to see a mention repeated across sources before it treats it as settled. Anyone promising faster is describing something other than editorial links.

The medians above move month to month — June ran faster than July — because editorial calendars do. We publish the months rather than only the average so you can see the spread instead of a single flattering number.

Need it against a deadline?

Tell us the date on the call. If we cannot hit it we will say so then, which is cheaper for both of us than finding out in week five.
