Procurement and contracts
Everything your finance and legal teams will ask for, answered before they ask. If your process needs a document that is not listed here, say so on the call and we will tell you plainly whether we can produce it.
What we can put in front of your buyer
Master Services Agreement
Available on request, and we will review yours instead if your legal team prefers to paper it on your template. Most engagements do not need one; the ones that do usually cannot start without it.
W-9 and W-8
A completed W-9 for US entities, and the relevant W-8 series form for those outside the US. Sent the same day you ask, before the first invoice rather than after it holds up your payment run.
Invoicing on net terms
You do not have to put this on a card. We invoice, and net terms are normal here rather than an exception we make reluctantly — most of what we bill already goes out this way, against a PO number if your process needs one.
Data Processing Agreement
A signable DPA on request, referencing the sub-processor list published on our security page rather than a generic annex that goes stale the moment anything changes.
Security documentation
Written up in full, including the controls we do not have. We would rather your reviewer find the gaps on our own page than in a questionnaire response three weeks into the process.
Read the security pageDelivery timelines
Published stage by stage, from the report through first placements to when citation movement shows up — including where a stage depends on an editor saying yes rather than on us.
See delivery timesPortal access
Reporting lives in a customer portal reached by a one-time emailed code, so there is no shared password to rotate when someone leaves. We do not currently support SAML or OIDC single sign-on.
Ask for the paperwork before you ask for a quote.
It is quicker for both of us to find out in week one whether we can clear your process than in week six.
